Gong Bath at Poole Christian Spiritualist Church
the “Flower Moon”-May’s full moon-will reach its peak on Monday, 12 May 2025. Traditionally, it’s named for the abundance of flowers blossoming at this time, symbolising renewal, growth, and the beauty of nature’s cycles.
This year’s Flower Moon is a “micromoon,” so it will appear slightly smaller than usual, but still enchanting. The best time to view it is at moonrise that evening, when it glows low on the eastern horizon-often with a magical golden hue.
If you’re able, take a moment to step outside after sunset on 12 May. It’s a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and connect with the rhythms of nature and the sense of new beginnings that spring brings.
Wishing you a peaceful and uplifting Flower Moon!

About Gong Baths:
The Gong is a powerful tool for stress reduction, stimulating the glandular system, and breaking up emotional blockages. It produces vibrations that resonate with all cells in the human body, recalibrating the parasympathetic nervous system.
During a "Gong Bath," sound therapy bathes you in the vibrations of the gong, shifting your brainwaves from a waking state (Beta) to deeper levels (Theta/Delta), inducing a healing, meditative state. Benefits include:
- Relief from stress and insomnia
- Enhanced mental capacities and energy levels
- A sense of revitalisation and inner peace
What to Bring:
- A blanket or duvet
- A pillow
- A mat/bed for cushioning (for your comfort)
- eye mask
- Water
- Optional: A reclining chair or any items for additional comfort
This is a meditation session aimed at providing deep nourishment and upliftment, not a physical exercise.

- Women in their first trimester
