Come and join me for a Spring Equinox Gong Bath at The Retreat New Forest. 7pm

We will be indoors in the middle space (The Centre Room) and weather permitting outside after so we can do a small ceremony around the little cauldron fire.

Spring Equinox

Equal hours of light and darkness, signalling the return of the light. Honouring the mother of fire. Winter is over and Spring is Springing into life. Birds are building nests  and life is noticeable in the trees and hedgerows. Come join me for a Gong Bath and then a small fire where we can place the sticks that I will give you into the fire, these will represent our creative fire and a representation of light and dark and allowing us to reflect on our own lightness and darkness. Bringing in the notice of balance in our lives.

What will happen?

The Gong is a psychoacoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. It is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and to break up emotional blockages. When skilfully played, gongs stimulate and resonate all cells in the human body simultaneously and recalibrate the parasympathetic nervous system.

“Gong baths”, known as sound therapy “bathe” you in the sound of the gong. The sound shifts your brainwaves from Beta (waking state) to Theta/Delta levels, taking you into a healing, meditative state using the vibrations of the instrument.

It relieves stress and insomnia and boosts your mental capacities and energy levels. You leave feeling revitalised and at peace with yourself. No experience needed. All you need is a blanket/duvet, pillow and whatever else you need to lie comfortably for more than an hour (Bring a mat that will cushion you well, the more comfort you have the better).

This is not an exercise session, it is a deep nourishing and uplifting meditation

What do I need to bring: You will need to bring something comfortable to lay on, blanket and pillow. You can bring a reclining chair if you want. Also eye covering if you feel you need it.

Please arrive no later than 6:45pm for 7pm session and 8:15pm for the 8:30pm session so you can get comfortable. There is plenty of parking, if front is full just go around to the sign saying overflow car park. Entrance is not allowed after 7pm or 8:30pm as we will have started the Gong Meditation.

Look forward to seeing you.

Please note that this event is non refundable: We will however try to sell your tickets for you and then refund you or you are welcome to gift your tickets to someone else.
