THE SPRING EQUINOX

Spring Equinox 2019 in Northern Hemisphere will be at 21:58 on
Wednesday, 20 March

On the equinox, night and day are nearly the same length – 12 hours – all over the world. This is the reason it's called an “equinox”, derived from Latin, meaning “equal night.” However, in reality, equinoxes don't have exactly 12 hours of daylight.
The Earth's axis is always tilted at an angle of about 23.4° in relation to the ecliptic plane, the imaginary plane created by the Earth's path around the Sun. On any other day of the year, either the Southern Hemisphere or the Northern Hemisphere tilts a little towards the Sun. But on the two equinoxes, the tilt of the Earth's axis is perpendicular to the Sun's rays.

Scania & Heike welcome you into the space to warm teas, allowing yourself to arrive

We then go into a Drum Session with Heike allowing our selves to arrive followed by a Gong Bath to allow our bodies and minds to relax and breathe fresh life into the next cycle....
As we awaken, noticing the changes in us and step into the next part of the afternoon crossing over the lawn to breathe the calm peace of the labyrinth.

Walk at your own pace and enjoy quiet meditation.

Let a walk through the labyrinth be an opportunity, within the specific energy of the changing season, to take this pause and reflect. The labyrinth is an ancient (5,000+ years) tool for contemplating, meditation and communion.

In a world where time and no time are the primary focus, the gift of the seasonal pause, making time to reflect and take stock of:

where you are
what you’re feeling grateful for
what you’re ready to let go of
can be such a blessing and …a relief.

Working with the Cycles of Life in Nature, each seasonal pauses has its rhythm. Traditionally…

Autumn Equinox is about restoring balance

Winter Solstice is about clarifying and setting intentions for the coming 365 days cycle

Spring Equinox is breathing life into the intentions set at Winter Solstice and

Summer solstice is a wonderful time to acknowledge an celebrate life and what has manifested.

Some things change, some stay the same. Its’ all about working with Nature, not against her.

Spring is before your very eyes! Everything ready to burst info life.... lets harness the power! Lets honour this amazing planet and be part of the natural cycles.
We finish with the opportunity to use the ritual of fire to release our intentions into the longer days that approach. A cauldron will be lit and paper offered if you wish to release your intention or to breathe new life into them and throw into the fire.

Goodbyes and hopefully a chance to view the full moon on the way back to the car.

BOOK RECOMMENDED

The Gong and Drum is a psychoacoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. It is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and to break up emotional blockages. When skilfully played, gongs stimulate and resonate all cells in the human body simultaneously and recalibrate the parasympathetic nervous system.

The Gongs and Drums will create a sacred space, they allow us to attune our energies and link with our higher selves. During this evening we can be reminded of the fact that in spite of outward appearances, we are really beings of light occupying physical bodies. The gong Bath and the drum circle will allow time and space to connect with that divine-light energy in order to recharge our “spiritual batteries” I invite you to join Scania and Heike with beautiful gongs, drums and voice for an evening of sound. Booking essential,
You will need to bring something comfy to lay on and a pillow, bring your drums if you have them with you too.
